About The Oaks Vet

I am Anna White, MRCVS, and I’ve been in mixed practice for a number of years. Known affectionately in my village as Jane Herriot, I’m lucky enough to spend my working hours driving around the Sevenoaks area visiting a variety of animal clients and can often be found helping children to hear their pets’ heartbeat with my stethoscope. I’ve built up a strong relationship for providing a unique service, combining up to date medicine with the quality of care that you only get when your animal feels happy and at ease. I find that by avoiding the stress of moving your pet, I can get a true picture of your animals health in their own environment – and of course, it saves significant time and hassle when your vet comes to your home! My aim is to maximise your animals’ health and quality of life by carrying out regular preventative health checks and using both traditional medicine and complementary therapies including acupuncture and nutrition, tailored to your pets’ needs.
